It`s the same old story, but this time it`s your turn to play the lead
I know it can be hard, sad, difficult to understand
But I know I can nod and sympathize
Because once too I was brokenhearted because of a man

I have changed quite a bit from who I used to be
Some people say people don`t really change, but I believe they do
I am not the me I used to be
And I don`t see you as the you I once met a long time ago

That`s okay, that`s good really, because it shows progression
I can`t judge, I can only reflect on my own life lessons
It`s just I see it differently now, life
And I wish someone once would have told me these things and saved me the heartache of learning them all the hard way:

Just like you look forward to the future with optimism and a positive energy
It`s important to reflect on your past with the same enthusiastic grace...

If you hold anger, resentment, hostility, blame, jealousy and revenge in your heart, the only person you are hurting is you.
Do you want to want to live in pain accepted by your own heart?
Or, live in joy and peace, realized by overcoming and letting go...?

The questions, old and new, don`t always have definite answers, they are just unknowns. If you are seeking the answers, stop, breath, release, open your heart, mind, soul... life will pour into you, purpose will be reflected in everything you do.

The universe has to balance thought with action... remember to create positive actions, putting them in motion mentally first. Use each "obstacle" as an opportunity to prove how strong you are, how resilient you are, how beautiful, powerful, compassionate, understanding, deep, passionate, giving... how open minded you are!

You have the choice to make good choices! Everything isn`t that complicated. When life seems overwhelming, remember:
no matter what you believe in, God, Buddha, The Universe, Mother Nature.... the true principals remain in tact. Call it faith, the secret, physics... it`s all the same. The power, the truth, is within us ALL! We were all created equally, we all have been given the same opportunities. Life leads us all down a unique path, but we aren`t alone. We have support when we turn and desperately seek it. We have pain when we plead for happiness in a desperate time and our heart cracks open to be filled time and time again. But, the universe/God/nature provides a way for us all.

Don`t forget to stop and look into your own heart. No one, nothing, will ever make more sense, will ever answer more questions, will ever add more clarity, will ever bring you more peace... then when your desperately seeking, questioning mind, slows and connects with the rhythm of your heart.

I don`t need to be what you think I am
